For print & sign shops

A clearer request.
Before the estimate.

Turn missing quote specifications into questions your team can act on. Try the workflow below, then take the checklist back to your inbox.

  1. 01 Customer request
  2. 02 Check specifications
  3. 03 Draft clarification
  4. 04 Human review
Interactive demonstration / 01

From request to reviewable brief.

Synthetic data · local rules

This is a working, rule-based teaching demo, not a live AI agent or a client deployment. It reads the seven labeled lines below. It does not understand arbitrary emails, inspect files, connect to your inbox or send messages.

Request text stays in this page’s memory and is not sent or saved. If you allow site analytics, only named interactions—not request text—are tracked. Reloading clears edits.

What the checks will show

Missing is better than guessed.

The first sample has a quantity, but its size has no units, its material is undecided, its artwork is not ready and its date is ambiguous.

Run the check, then try the complete and conflicting examples.

  1. Read the supplied fields
  2. Flag gaps and conflicting values
  3. Draft questions for a person to review
One workflow. A practical next step.

Bring one quote-intake problem.

A free 20-minute CSLM review identifies one possible improvement, its human checkpoint and what to measure. It may be a better form—not an AI agent.

No purchase required. Implementation, integrations and third-party costs are quoted separately. No savings or lead volume is guaranteed.

The desk-side checklist

Five details worth collecting before preparing a sign quote.

These are starting questions, not universal production specifications. Adapt the checklist to your product, equipment and shop’s process.

Download checklist (.txt) ↓
01

Quantity + finished dimensions

Ask for the number of items, width, height and units. ‘6 × 3’ is not enough. Confirm each item separately for mixed orders.

02

Use + material

Indoor or outdoor? Temporary or long-term? Capture the requested material, or route the choice to the shop. Do not choose suitability from an email alone.

03

Artwork + finishing

Ask whether a file exists and its format. Availability does not mean print-ready. Your team checks the actual file, proof, colors, sides and finishing requirements.

04

In-hand date + feasibility

Ask for a specific date, not ‘Friday.’ The shop must confirm proof turnaround, production capacity and delivery before committing.

05

Pickup, delivery or installation

Identify who handles the next step. Installation may need site measurements, access details, a survey or permit review by a qualified person.

What a real pilot would add

Prove the handoff before connecting the inbox.

This demonstration checks labeled synthetic text with deterministic rules. It is not evidence that CSLM has deployed an AI quote system for a print shop.

A separately agreed pilot would test a representative, permissioned sample; compare extracted fields with human answers; route uncertainty to staff; and measure corrections and handling time. Only then consider an approved inbox or CRM integration.

What we would measure

  • Correct fields versus the human-reviewed answer
  • Missing or conflicting details caught—and missed
  • Staff review time and correction effort
  • Unauthorized sends or production actions: none allowed

No performance results or customer savings are claimed here.

Public sign-ordering pages ask for dimensions, quantity, artwork and product options. They informed the questions—not an affiliation or endorsement: Signs.com banner options and FASTSIGNS Blue Valley quote guidance.

Continue with CSLM’s data-entry workflow guide or browser-testing evidence guide. If quote intake is your own repeated bottleneck, compare a process repair, ordinary integration and a scoped AI test before connecting live systems.
