Watch a Playwright checkout test.

From a digital product to a zero-total order and download. One recorded Chromium journey, not a promise that every checkout works.

What happens in the test

There is no spoken audio to transcribe. This ordered description explains the visible journey and the checks documented with the original run; it is not a new test execution.

  1. Open the store and product

The browser opens Shoplenty and selects the digital wall-art bundle. The test checks the expected product and digital-only description.

  2. Add one item to the cart

The test checks the product, quantity one and the pre-discount price.

  3. Apply the approved coupon

ARTFREE reduces the displayed total to $0.00. The test checks the confirmation and zero total before proceeding.

  4. Complete the guest checkout

The automation supplies labeled synthetic test details. No card is entered, and no physical shipment is requested.

  5. Check the order confirmation

The test checks the expected product, coupon discount, zero total and download action on the order-received page.

  6. Request the digital file

The recorded run's download check saved a non-empty 2.56 MB ZIP. File size alone does not prove that every file inside is correct.

What this recording does not prove

No paid-card processing, refunds, tax rules, shipping, Firefox, WebKit, mobile, load testing or complete accessibility audit was demonstrated. A historical passing result is not a current availability check.

Playwright executes configured steps and assertions. AI can help design or maintain the test, but clicking alone is not verification. People still own requirements, permissions, safe test data and release decisions.
